Artistic Director & Ballet Coach
Oscar Valdes, internationally acclaimed principal ballet dancer and co-founder of As One Masterclass, is currently a principal with West Australian Ballet. Oscar's career has taken him to renowned stages, including Dutch National Ballet, with guest appearances across Europe and South America. Known for powerful technique and artistry, Valdes is passionate about equipping the next generation with the tools needed for both technical excellence and long-term career longevity.

Nicholas Cunningham
Musical Theatre & Performance
Nicholas Cunningham, an internationally acclaimed Broadway performer and choreographer, brings a wealth of experience from Broadway, the West End, and global productions. Known for dynamic stage presence and technical excellence, Nicholas helps dancers refine versatility, artistry, and performance quality—preparing them for the demands of the industry.

David Mack
Contemporary Dance
David Mack, award-winning artist and former soloist with The Australian Ballet, has performed with top companies including Sydney Dance Company, Rambert, and West Australian Ballet. Blending classical and contemporary disciplines, David brings a unique perspective to coaching—helping dancers develop expressive, versatile technique and a deeper connection to their artistry.

Renée Siljeg
Pilates Instructor
Renée Siljeg is a world-renowned Pilates instructor specializing in strength, mobility, and injury prevention for dancers. With a deep understanding of how the body moves under the demands of elite performance, Renée helps dancers build core strength, enhance flexibility, and reduce injury risk—ensuring they perform at their highest level while protecting their bodies for the future.

Roz Richards
Performance Recovery Specialist
Roz Richards is a leading sports myotherapist and performance recovery specialist, known for her work with elite athletes, including her role as a soft tissue coordinator for the Melbourne Storm. A former international athlete herself, Roz brings firsthand knowledge of injury prevention, muscle recovery, and peak performance strategies. At As One Masterclass, Roz applies expertise to help dancers protect their bodies, recover efficiently, and sustain long, high-performing careers.

Dr. Nadine Perlen is a highly respected specialist in elite nutrition and a general practitioner with over 30 years of experience. A leader in nutritional and environmental medicine, Nadine integrates science-backed nutrition with performance optimization—helping dancers fuel their bodies for strength, endurance, and injury prevention. As both an educator and endurance athlete, Nadine brings a deep understanding of what it takes to sustain peak performance in high-demand disciplines like dance.

Melissa McCabe
Pointe & Artistry Coach
Melissa McCabe is an acclaimed ballet artist, choreographer, and educator with a career spanning The Australian Ballet, West Australian Ballet, and Alberta Ballet. Trained at Tanya Pearson and The Australian Ballet School, she’s known for her exceptional technique and artistry. At As One Masterclass, Melissa brings elite experience and insight to help dancers elevate their training and performance.

Danielle Hunt
Pointe & Technique Coach
Danielle Hunt is a highly respected rehabilitation and technique coach, specializing in injury prevention, technical refinement, and dancer welfare. A former Australian Ballet dancer, Danielle later became a classical lecturer at WAAPA and John Curtin College of the Arts before joining West Australian Ballet’s medical team. At As One Masterclass, Hunt brings her expertise to help dancers develop strong, injury-resistant technique, ensuring longevity in their careers.

Ellen Paterniti is a dance Physiotherapist dedicated to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. With eight years on West Australian Ballet’s physiotherapy and wellbeing team, Ellen has worked with elite dancers across ballet, contemporary, and theatre. Combining a dance background with clinical expertise, Paterniti is an expert in lower limb injuries and strength training—helping dancers build resilient bodies for long, high-performing careers.

One of Australia’s most celebrated dance figures, David McAllister AC joins As One Masterclass as a special guest host for our final day Q&A.
